Tour Highlights

Day 1: ATHENS
Transfer from Athens Airport to your hotel. Overnight in Athens

Day 2: ATHENS/DELPHI
Set off after breakfast on a 3 day-2 night guided coach tour visiting some of the most ancient Greek towns and historic sites along the way. Today, drive to Thebes, Levadia and Arachova en route to Delphi.

Day 3: DELPHI/KALAMBAKA (Meteora)
After lunch, the tour heads for Central Greece via Amfissa, Larnia and Trikala arriving at Kalambaka late afternoon.

Day 4: METEORA/THERMOPYLAE/ATHENS
Following breakfast in Kalambaka, the tour heads to the pinnacles of Meteora and the Byzantine monasteries that sit high atop the rock face. In the afternoon, the drive back to Athens includes stops to see the Statue of Leonidas at Thermopylae. Overnight in Athens.

Day 5: CRUISE – EMBARKATION/MYKONOS
After breakfast, transfer to Piraeus Port to board your Louis Hellenic Cruises vessel for a 4 day/3 night cruise to the Greek Islands and the Turkish port of Kusadasi. Sailing at 11.00 am your first port of call is the magical island of Mykonos at 6.00 pm. View the magnificent sunset over the harbour before sailing again at 11.00 pm.

Day 6: CRUISE – KUSADASI/PATMOS
In the morning, arrive at Kusadasi (Turkey) with an optional shore excursion to Ephesus and the Library of Celsius, Temple of Diana and the amphitheatre where St.Paul preached. Afternoon call at Patmos where St.John the Divine experienced the Apocalypse as described in the Book of Revelations. View the priceless icons and manuscripts preserved in the Monastery of St. John. Overnight onboard.

Day 7: CRUISE – HERAKLION (Crete)/SANTORINI
Morning call at Heraklion, the Crete Capital, a mere 3 miles from the fantastic ruins of Knossos palace, seat of the Minoan civilization. Arrive at the beautiful island of Santorini at 5.00 pm. Overnight onboard.

Day 8: CRUISE – DISEMBARKATION
After breakfast, your Greek Delight tour ends.
