The ultimate tour of Egypt, spend 11 days exploring the wonders of ancient civilizations by land and on a 5 Day cruise down The Nile. This Grand Tour encompasses Cairo, Aswan, Kom Ombo, Luxor and Sharm el Sheikh , taking you from the Pyramids of Giza to temples of the gods, through the Sinai Desert and to the Red Sea.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: CAIRO
Transfer from Cairo Airport to your hotel.
Day 2: CAIRO SIGHTSEEING
A full day on a guided tour of Cairo. Visit the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Citadel, Mosque of Mohammed Ali and Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: ON CRUISE – CAIRO – ASWAN
Transfer to Cairo Airport for the short flight to Aswan where you will embark on a 4 day/3 night cruise on the Nile River. Afternoon excursion to Elephantine Island by felucca (traditional Egyptian sail boat). NB This excursion is not available for those who opt to participate in the air excursion to Abu Simbel.
Day 4: ON CRUISE – ASWAN – KOM OMBO
Visit the granite quarries, High Dam and Temple of Philae. Afternoon cruise to Kom Ombo and a visit to the Temple of the crocodile-headed god, Sobek.
Day 5: ON CRUISE – EDFU – ESNA LOCK – LUXOR
At Edfu, visit the Temple of Horus, the falcon-headed god. Continue to Luxor via the Esna Lock.
Day 6: ON CRUISE – LUXOR
Explore Luxor with tours of the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.
Day 7: LUXOR – SHARM el SHEIKH
In the morning, disembark cruise ans transfer to Luxor airport for flight to Sharm el Sheikh.
Days 8 & 9: SHARM el SHEIKH
Two full days to relax by the Red Sea and enjoy this resort town. An optional excursion though the Sinai Desert to the Monastery of St. Catherine is recommended.
Day 10: SHARM el SHEIKH – CAIRO
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight back to Cairo. On arrival, transfer to hotel in Heliopolis with the remainder of the day at your leisure.
Day 11: CAIRO
After breakfast in your hotel, transfer to Cairo Airport. Tour concludes.
