Day 1: On arrival at Rome International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this spectacular city.
Day 2: After breakfast being your Morning City Tour which includes visits to the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Navona Square and St.Peter’s Basilica. Venice City Break Itinerary
Day 1: On arrival at Venice airport you’ll be met and transferred from the airport to the private boat landing for your private water taxi speed boat to Venice city centre. Make your way to the hotel (short walk). Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: After breakfast, the walking tour commences from St Mark’s Square with a qualified and experienced guide who will escort you through the millennium of life of the Serenissima Republic, recalling the charm of this unique city. From St. Mark’s square the walking route takes in St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Bell Tower, Clock Tower and Procuratie, Santa Maria Formosa, Campo SS. Giovanni e Paolo (the “Pantheon” of Venice, with the Great School of Charity and the Captains of fortune; Marco Polo’s House and Malibran Theatre). Return to St. Mark’s Square through Mercerie Street, the vital connection between Rialto and San Marco and the main street for city shopping. After a short break it’s on to a guided visit to the Doge’s Palace, a masterpiece of the gothic art which represented for centuries the seat of the Venetian political power.
Enjoy a break for lunch before meeting at St Mark’s Square at 4:30pm or 5:30pm for a 1 hour regular Grand Canal tour with English speaking escort and tour of the Grand Canal with a view of the most beautiful buildings that line the most famous canal of Venice.
