Explore Cairo on a fully-guided coach tour before boarding an overnight train on Day 3 to Luxor where you will spend 2 nights. Visit the West Bank, Valley of the Kings, temples and the Colossi of Memnon. Returning to Cairo on Day 6 of this 8 Day Tour, your next day is at your leisure in and around Cairo – sightsee, shop, discover the amazing bazaars – with the option of a tour to Alexandria.

Temple of Luxor

Day 1: CAIRO
Transfer from Cairo Airport to your hotel.

Day 2: CAIRO SIGHTSEEING
A full day on a guided tour of Cairo. Visit the Egyptian Museum, Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Citadel, Mosque of Mohammed Ali and Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: CAIRO – LUXOR
After breakfast enjoy a guided tour to Memphis and Sakkara. In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station for an overnight trip on the sleeper train to Luxor.

Day 4: LUXOR
Arrive in the morning and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Karnak and Luxor temples.

Day 5: LUXOR
Full day touring the West Bank with visits to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

Day 6: LUXOR – CAIRO
Morning at leisure to explore Luxor before transferring to Luxor Airport for the short flight back to Cairo.

Day 7: CAIRO
A day at leisure to discover fascinating Cairo – bazaars, shopping, sightseeing – or take an optional trip to Alexandria.

Day 8: CAIRO
After breakfast in your hotel, transfer to Cairo Airport. Tour concludes.
